Flour City Over Beavers 5-3

Flour City Hockey Club improved to 7-0 on the season with a 5-3 win over Frigid Beavers.

Pat Whitman scored on a feed from Ken Klotzbach to spark a 3-0 run for Flour City in the first period. Joe Jacque tipped in a Doug Keller shot from the point and Adam Keymel added another off a rebound.

Flour City added two more in the second when Ben Lee hit a streaking Bryce Waltman on a break, and Whitman added his second of the night.

The Beavers had FC on their heels, scoring a pair of goals in the third to bring the game within reach. But the Flour City defense held off the attack to secure the win.
