Flour City Hockey Club defeated Rochester Inferno 7-0 to win their second straight IAHL Novice+ championship and their third title in four consecutive finals appearances. 

Ryan Yacono earned the shutout in net, while Bryce Waltman led the offensive attack with his first career hat trick. Doug Keller (2), JP Freel and Zak Sadwick also had goals. Flour City has a bit shorthanded on the night with Albert Blankley, Karyn Bower, and Sam Yurick each listed as scratches from the active roster list. 

The two teams split their regular season series with Inferno earning a dramatic come from behind victory in overtime the last time they met.
