Short Ice is FAN-tastic in Week Two

Week two of the Summer Short Ice team featured two one-goal thrillers as the Boston Crabs and Full Nelsons remained perfect on the season.

Full Nelsons 9, Legion of Doom 8

Full Nelsons overcame an early four goal deficit to defeat Legion of Doom. Full Nelsons were led by JP Freel with four goals, with Dean Cutri and Pat Jenkins offering a pair each in the win. Jenkins had the game winner in the game's final minute of play.

Matt Kleckner had a hat trick to lead Legion of Doom's scoring effort. Shane Bertou and Mike Trinidad each added a pair of goals in the effort.

Boston Crabs 12, The Exalted Ones 11

The Boston Crabs came from behind to net the winning goal in the closing seconds, defeating The Exalted Ones 12-11. 

Alexei Chatterton scored four goals to lead the Crabs over The Exalted Ones. He was followed by Evan Johnson and Joe Climek, who each had three.

Adam Preston racked up another six goals to his season leading tally, but the Exalted Ones came up short in the end. Joe Marasco also had a hat trick on the evening.
